Nima Rumba… a multi talented guy who had deep passion in music & arts but never realized that until he finished SLC. In his younger years, he had spent jamming with his big brother Namgel friends Rabi, Saroj, Bire. After sometimes he became their vocalist and formed the band 'The Bass'. Around 3-4 years being with the band, they did all the local stage concerts, college, campus around Nepal …but even with all hard works still didn’t worked out ‘coz of financial problems and as there were no media to recognized them before . Eventually, group had to fell apart. He never lost hope, one fine day he met one of his friend Jyoti Ratna Bajracharya and asked him if they can form a band together with his friends. Soon as the new band "The Peace" is formed, they got the chance to composed their first single “Aai Deu Priya" and recorded it in “Sanga Recording Studio”. It was everybody’s first time in studio and they all were very nervous, Jyoti played the drums, Puru on Bass and Dipesh on Lead Guitar, Sailendra on Rythm Guitar, and thanks to Jyoti for believing in him as their vocalist . Group had the chance to participate in Rara Nepali Pop music Competition in 1992 and luckily they got the 2nd place. With the same song "Aai Deu Priya" they got the attention of Mr. Anil Sthapit and sis dai from Harati Cassette Centre and they wanted our song to include in a pop song collection 'Talent-1' 1992. After releasing with the album collection, their single went real hit and soon began to receive fan mails and concert invitations. That was amazing and until now he still remember the days he got his first fan mail and it was from a bunch of gals from Pokhara…that made him encourage to do more songs.
     Despite the success of the song "Aai Deu Priya" and all live concerts, band has to be broken. He started moving as a solo singer, and by 1993, his first solo song titled "Jadaichu Tadha Tadha". He wrote the lyrics and thru 'Touch-1' collection album it was released from the same group Harati Cassette Centre. From there... his journey to music industry begins. In span of 2-3 years as solo artist he already made 'Pagal Premi', 'Ujaad Mero Jeevanma', 'Block Heel Shoes' to name few …for different collection albums and in deed turned out to be big hit.
