This year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the founding of the United Nations. Eighty years ago, in the face of the dark and evil forces of fascism, people of different countries, ethnic groups, social systems and ideologies united in exchange for a victory for justice and peace, opening the chapter for mankind to rebuild the post-war order and pursue lasting peace. Over the past 80 years, under the theme of peace and development, and driven by the wave of scientific and technological innovation, humanity’s material civilization has flourished unprecedentedly, world connectivity has deepened unprecedentedly and humanity has increasingly become a community with a shared future. Young people from all countries should uphold the concept of win-win cooperation and common development, and use bilateral and multilateral mechanisms and regional platforms. We should deepen and expand cooperation among youth, actively participate in the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the outcomes of the Future Summit, and inject youth impetus into bridging the global development deficit and achieving more inclusive and inclusive global development. We call on young people to be actors in the response to climate change. Climate change threatens humanity’s common home planet.

Young people from all countries should actively participate in global climate change actions in the spirit of “joining the same team” and demonstrate their youthful responsibility for innovative solutions to global climate issues, improving global ecological governance and jointly addressing global challenges. We call on young people to be promoters of science and technology for good. Scientific and technological progress brings opportunities to world peace as well as challenges. Youth across the world must rise to the forefront and shoulder their responsibilities in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, promote scientific and technological achievements for the benefit of all humanity and the inclusive development of digital technologies, and provide youth solutions to improve global science and technology governance and build an inclusive, just and sustainable global future.
